A tan sólo 159 km de la ciudad de Santiago, en pleno valle de Colchagua, se encuentra Marchigüe, localidad cercana a la costa que es considerada una de las zonas vitivinícolas más destacadas de Chile.
Viña Marchigüe was founded in 1994 in the town of the same name, located in the coastal area of the Colchagua Valley.
It was born as a major challenge: to develop an industry capable of creating real economic and social change in the area, while always remaining connected to agriculture.
Don Francisco Javier Errázuriz Talavera, together with his family, brought this project to life. Today, it includes more than 2,500 hectares of vineyards—most of them located in this valley—making it the most important family-owned winery in Chile.
